Micah was over the moon following Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night, a victory that secured their Champions League spot.
The 22-year old was in impressive form for Roberto Mancini’s men as the side were edged in front courtesy of Peter Crouch’s own goal and valiantly held out for the three points.
And the right-back put tired to put into words how he felt about the achievement, describing what could be the highlight of his career thus far if City complete a successful seven days with victory over Stoke City in the FA Cup final.
“It’s unbelievable – it almost doesn’t feel real,” Micah said. “I’m so happy for the boys but we have fantastic team spirit in that dressing room.
“This could turn out to be the best week of my life, if we can bring the FA Cup home as well.
“To achieve Champions League football in such a short space of time after bringing in so many players is amazing.
“Now we just have to keep our feet on the ground and if we do we can bring home the Cup as well.”
The next challenge after the weekend will be for Mancini’s side to see if they can overhaul Arsenal for third-place in the league, an achievement that would seal automatic qualification to the Champions League.
“There’s a chance because we’ve got two games left and we’re just two points behind them,” Micah added.
“But we’re just going to take each game as it comes – the main thing is that we’ve already qualified for the Champions League and nobody can take that away from us.
