Micah has completed his move to Fiorentina on loan until the end of the season, with the option of making the move permanent next summer.
The deal brings to an end Micah’s 12-year spell at City, who signed him as a 14-year old and for whom he made his professional debut aged 17.
He has made over 250 appearances for the club since then, collecting a Barclays Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup medal, as well as appearing in the Champions League. During the 2011-12 title-winning season, Micah was shortlisted for City’s Player of the Season award.
Fiorentina finished fourth in Serie A last season, and Micah joins former City boys Stefan Savic and David Pizarro in Florence.
