Micah and his Manchester City teammates got the pre-season preparations under way last week, returning to training before flying off to South Africa for the first-leg of their tour.

In their opening fixture, City succumbed to a 2-0 loss to Supersport, with Micah playing the first-half and new manager Manuel Pellegrini making wholesale changes at the break to give as many players as possible a run-out.

Their next game in the Nelson Mandela Football Invitational will pit them against AmaZulu on Thursday, before the squad fly to Asia for the Barclays Asia Trophy.
