Two late goals in the game saw Fiorentina draw 1-1 with Torino, as Vincenzo Montella’s men missed the chance to climb up to fourth in Serie A.
La Viola had a chance to go ahead from the penalty spot after Milan Badelj was brought down, but Babacar’s spot-kick was tame and duly saved.
Maxi Lopez almost put the visitor’s ahead with a vicious low drive that was saved superbly, and at the other end, with Fiorentina still toiling for the opener, Badelj went close with a header.
The game looked destined to end goalless, but with five minutes to go Mohamed Salah found the back of the net, beating the offside trap and firing home off the inside of the post to make it 1-0 and seemingly secure the three points late on.
However, Vives popped up to grab an even later equalizer as the two sides shared a point apiece.
