Gonzalo Higuain handed Napoli the three points as the visitors beat Fiorentina 1-0 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Micah was among the substitutes having shaken off a slight hamstring strain last week, and the hosts almost went ahead when Khouma Babacar’s long-range effort rebounded off the crossbar.
Higuain, though, was to prove a danger throughout the game, and not long after he weaved through La Viola’s defence only to miss the target at the last.
He did have the ball in the back of the net before the interval, but he was ruled offside, whilst the visitors continued to exert the pressure after the break.
With the Fiorentina defence creaking, Higuain finally found a way through, collecting the rebound and firing home from inside the penalty area to make it 1-0.
Mario Gomez went close to doubling the advantage, his header rebounding off the woodwork, whilst Higuain was gifted another chance only to scuff the opportunity.
Napoli saw the game out to secure a win that moves them up into the Champions League places, whilst Vincenzo Montella will look for an improvement after the international break.
