Micah has completed his move to Aston Villa, signing a four-year deal to move to Villa Park on 1 July after his Manchester City contract expires.
Having returned from his loan spell at Serie A side Fiorentina, Micah was available on a free transfer after turning down the offer of a new contract at the Etihad in his quest for a regular starting spot.
On completing the signing, Villa manager Tim Sherwood said:
“I’m really pleased to get Micah on board and I’m sure he will prove to be an excellent signing for the football club.”
Micah will join up with his new teammates when the squad return for pre-season, concluding an almost 13 year association with City which saw him win two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup.
