Manchester City stormed to a 5-1 home win over Norwich as Micah collected another assist and five different scorers sealed the three points.

The win cements City’s place at the top of the Premier League as they approach the busy festive period, and they were more than worthy of another sensational win.

Micah nearly had his head knocked off by Steve Morison within the first minute due to a high boot, whilst Edin Dzeko fired a 25-yard effort just wide.

Norwich looked dangerous early on, though, and Morison had a great opportunity to grab an opener as he raced beyond Kolo Toure only for his touch to let him down, and Joe Hart grabbed the ball at his feet.

Sergio Aguero – impressive throughout the game – went close as he drove an effort down the throat of John Ruddy, whilst the Argentina international skied a half-volley from eight yards out.

However, just as City seemed to be struggling to find a way through, Micah raced down the right and cut the ball back for Aguero, who in turn managed to slot the ball through four defenders and into the back of the net to make it 1-0.

Micah claimed another assist to add to his already impressive tally, whilst the visitors were tasked with committing more men forward in search of an equaliser.

Norwich went close early in the second-half as Elliot Bennett picked up a loose ball in City’s penalty area and attempted to take the ball round Hart, but he forced himself too wide and wasn’t able to cut the ball back in.

However, the hosts went two up as a curling free-kick by Samir Nasri evaded all the players in the box and went beyond Ruddy, handing City a 2-0 lead, whilst the stopper had to make a superb double stop from David Silva and Aguero.

It was three soon after, Silva taking the short corner to Yaya Toure who curled the ball home to make it 3-0, though Norwich soon found a way through of their own as a quick corner caught City napping and Morison rose highest to head home.

Any hopes Norwich harbored of a late comeback were quickly ended as Mario Balotelli added an exquisite fourth, flicking the ball over Ruddy and knocking the ball in with his shoulder, whilst Adam Johnson added a fifth with a low drive to seal the 5-1 win.
